Job Summary:

The Quality Department is experiencing growth and this is a newly created position. You will ensure quality of new product line, identify bottlenecks to improve processes, and work hand in hand with manufacturing & other engineers.

Job Duties:

  • Identify bottlenecks to improve processes and procedures
  • Participate in cross-functional review of process potential failure modes and effects analysis (process PFMEA)
  • Facilitate torque recipe development for critical bolted joints
  • Facilitate new product development process readiness and process audits
  • Facilitate engineering change notice process readiness and audit
  • Monitor statistical process control and facilitate correction when appropriate
  • Facilitate containment, problem analysis, and corrective action for issues
  • Report Balanced Score Card metrics and facilitate actions to address gaps
  • Complete assigned actions to support strategic initiatives


  • Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience workign with PFMEAs
  • Root Cause Analysis experience
  • Minimally 2 years experience in a manufacturing envrironment
