The Physical Therapist will render physical therapy services to inpatients/residents, planning and conducting screening/assessment, developing treatment plans, delivering or supervising the delivery of treatment intervention and education for the purpose of decreasing pain; restoring mobility and/or strength; improving coordination, balance, endurance and ambulatory status; restoring skin integrity; and improving the patient's overall functional status. The Physical Therapist will function as an interdisciplinary team member within the hospital/facility and in interactions with other health care providers. Patients/residents served include all age groups (Infant through Adult-Geriatric), but primarily Adult-Geriatric.

What You Need to Be Successful:

BS in Physical Therapy, or its equivalent required; MS degree preferred.
Possesses current Maryland State license, or is eligible.
One year of acute/subacute experience preferred.
Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing patient care is required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows or successful completion of a hospital training program required.
Weekend Staff/Float Pool - 1 year of acute care experience is required.
