Manager - Strategic Initiatives, Aerospace & Defense
Location: Remote

Position Scope:
Aerospace & Defense (A&D); Strategy and Growth. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Strategic Analysis and Growth. The Manager of Strategic Initiatives will be an integral position for development and implementation of the A&D Business Unit strategy by leading activities related to analyzing the market environment and industry landscape. In this role, the Manager will have accountability for translating market intelligence and the BU's strategic plan into executable and tactical actions & plans. Additionally, this position will assist with the Mergers and Acquisitions pipeline in the A&D Business Unit. This position demands excellent communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and strong project leadership skills to drive critical initiatives across the business unit. This position will interface directly with multiple functions in the organization - inclusive of Business Development, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Operations and will have direct reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Due to ITAR requirements, candidate must be a U.S. citizen
Perform analysis and create actionable insights by assessing market intelligence on the industry, market segments & trends, key customer roadmaps, portfolios, platforms/programs, as well as competitive strengths and weaknesses
Assist with the development of the A&D strategic plan
Assist with the Mergers & Acquisitions Pipeline development; perform research on companies, track progress of targets thru the process, assist with other activities as needed related to integration
Lead critical strategic projects across the A&D business unit in support of critical initiatives
Lead the development of KPI's for the business unit; monitor & support Sr. Leadership with key insights and analysis
Work with Business Development team to prepare value propositions, strategies, and business cases for internal product portfolios that align with customer needs and overall market intelligence
Facilitate the development of internal product roadmaps; make recommendations on priorities for IRAD and Capex
Assist the Business Development team to prepare and track status associated with forecast, bookings, backlogs in market segments
Work with Business Development and Marketing teams to assist with collateral development, PR activities to enhance industry recognition and branding
Utilize internal enterprise systems in support of business development efforts, alignment to market assessments and A&D strategic planning
This position will be required to mentor and/or train others and will have direct reports

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Experience in A&D industry in business intelligence, analytics, strategy/consultant role
Experience with data warehouse structures, forecasting tools, MS Excel & MS Office
Past experience with FactSet, DACIS, other comparable databases as well as secondary research
Excellent analytical skills, competent in data analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence and manage well in dynamic settings
Experience leading direct reports
High level skills in project management and conflict management skills
Strong literacy and presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate to high levels within the organization
Good understanding of financial profit and loss structures
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to multitask on several priority issues simultaneously without degrading quality
Proficiency in business applications, data usage, and management
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience in market research, business development, or other relevant experience

Export Statement:
a) Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. b) Ensure compliance with the Corporate Export policies through implementation and enforcement of these procedures at the plant level. c) Provide training, assistance and support to all departments to ensure policy compliance. d) Conduct periodic audits as required. e) Prepare and submit ITAR and EAR license application documentation as required. f) Provide feedback to Corporate Export Compliance Office for continuous improvement of procedures and overall Export Compliance program.
