The organisation: We are excited to be partnered with an awesome health charity to help find their next Digital Communications Lead. This role is a 4-month contract. Key responsibilities: As a member of the Communications Team, actively support the planning, implementation and constant review of the Charity's communications strategy and annual plans. Seek to raise the profile of the charity through digital channels by supporting the generation and publishing of engaging and impactful content in line with industry best practice and learnings. Develop digital channel strategies which support the delivery of the charity's Communication's strategy. Use UX design principles to make changes where needed, to improve functionality, engagement and acquisition and retention rates. Use analytical tools and industry benchmarks to monitor the performance of the charity's digital channels, sharing these learnings and acting on insight to become best in class within the industry. Be responsible for the Charity's SEO tactics, planning and reviewing regularly to ensure maximum optimization. In line with the Communications strategy and plans, work with relevant teams to create high performing digital content and e-communications. Work closely with the Design and Multimedia Content Officer to share content and assets using the charity's Digital Asset Management System and contribute to its ongoing development in line with organisational needs. Person specification: Confident in the use of Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Ads and CMS' Comprehensive understanding and use of all key social media channels Experience of digital content creation e.g. copywriting, design, photography and videography Outstanding written and oral communication skills Ability to prioritise deadlines and manage multiple projects Ability to assimilate information to create effective communications Overarching knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques Understanding of GDPR and data processing What's on offer: This a full-time role offering a salary of £30,000-£35,000.
