The purpose of this position is to provide facility and equipment CAD support to client site.
Create and update layout plans and detail drawings for manufacturing facility which includes Architectural, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines.
Provide scanning, indexing and quality control support for drawings using drawing management system.
Provide training to new users on drawing management system.
Maintain CAD standards for master record drawings.
Proficient with AutoCAD 2D, and Microsoft Office products. Some SolidWorks experience preferred.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Ability to work well in team environment and able to express accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to create accurate, clear plans and detailed drawings that are based on information provided by engineers and customers.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (AA/AS), Diploma in Architectural Technology or AutoCAD or equivalent preferred. Prior related experience preferred.
1-3 years of AutoCAD experience.
